Steve Black ~ Guitar

Hailing from Southern Illinois, guitarist Steven Black has brought his own style of jazz, blues and funk to audiences and not only in the United States but in the Middle and Far East. Growing up in the midwest in the 70's he has played with blues greats like Luther Allison, Otis Rush and funk bands like Confunkshun, Lakeside and the Bar-kays, Michael Henderson and smooth jazz Saxophoniist, Marion Meadows. Now residing in Seattle, he plays with a number of well known jazz, blues, and funk bands throughout the northwest. He is rapidly becoming one of Seattle's favorite guitar players. His clean sweet and soulful sound will catch your ear every time and is guaranteed to raise a brow.

Roger Filgo ~ Hamond B3 & Vocals

Roger Filgo is a major force in the Seattle area and has been since his career began in the late sixties. Rogers experience in the music industry is extensive. Perfoming as the opening act for groups such as Earth Wind and Fire, John Lee Hooker, The Stylisties and Otis Rush. He successfully produced three singles which gave his original music national exposure and provided him with local and national recognition as a songwriter as well as promoting his live performances accross the United States. The most endearing quality of Roger Filgo is his values. He is old fashioned and won't do just anything to perform. He won't play any kind of music just to make a buck. He wants the music done right and wants it done well for the sake of music not just for the applause.



Vernon Petry ~ Drums and Vocals

Nicked named "Cool V' originally from Spokane, WA, he brings his 30 years experience with Rhythm & Blues music to this group. He has played professionally over the years in the Pacific Northwest , Cananda, Oregon and California. Playing all styles of music from the 70's to the 90's blues, R&B, funk and jazz. His originality and natural style keeps the groove movin'. Truly the heartbeat of the music.

 

  


C.T. Thompson ~ Lead Vocals
Born in Monroe, Louisiana, CT was at the age of 9 listening to Hoss Man on WLAC out of Nashville. Moved to Seattle and went to the UW. While in college his influences were Jimi Hendrix, Sly Stone, Parliament and Earth Wind and Fire. Now after years of experience singing R&B, Blues, Top 40, Funk and Jazz he is at a level of all styles. Then moved to Chicago where he played in the horn section for Tyrone Davis, Little Milton, The Dells, Clarence Carter and many others. Still satisfying audiences all around the Seattle area movin' and grovin' and writing songs.
